- what can i say?? it was REEEDONKULOUSLY amazing!!! i love all four of the Kataoka brothers, and i can't even say especially Satoshi or especially Hinata or whatever because they were all so good! even the pretty boy brother, who bears some kind of resemblance to Kaneshiro Takeshi, i think. The only thing is, I didn't think he had that much chemistry with Nodame, to be completely honest. I almost think Chiaki and Mine should've gotten together. It's like Nodame was more of a concept than a person, so I couldn't take it as a love story; I felt like they were really forcing it. Masumi and that guy that played Nakao in HanaKimi were really adorable tho!

GMA asked to declare Iglesia ni Cristo Day

Quezon City Rep. Annie Rosa L. Susano (Lakas-CMD) and other government officials appealed to President Arroyo yesterday to declare July 27, 2007 and every year thereafter a national non-working holiday to commemorate the founding of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) by the late Executive Minister Felix Manalo on July 27, 1914 in Punta, Sta. Ana, Malate, Manila.
Susano, who filed a resolution in the House of Representatives making July 27 INC Day, said that like the month-long Ramadan for Muslims whose start is observed as a national non-working holiday, the founding of INC is revered by millions of Filipinos in the Philippines and 75 other countries around the world, including Italy.
"These millions of Filipinos must be given the opportunity to observe in the most meaningful manner the anniversary of INC, one of the greatest ideological upheavals in this country by a Church that is truly Filipino," Susano said.
Susano, who represents country’s biggest legislative district with more than 1.2 million constituents and 520,299 registered voters, said INC has millions of members in the Philippines and abroad.
The significance of the founding of INC is emphasized by the fact that every year, the House of Representatives approves a resolution expressing the deep appreciation of its members for the national spiritual leadership of INC under its current Executive Minister Eraño G. Manalo, eldest son of Felix Manalo.
"The phenomenal growth of INC, notwithstanding all possible hostilities, persecutions, and obstacles, was achieved through the leadership of Ka Erdy and the dedication of ministers of laymen zealous in spreading INC’s teachings," said Susano, a direct descendant of Melchora Aquino, the Tandang Sora of the Philippine Revolution against Spain.
